LAHORE: President Pervez Musharraf said that the political stability is necessary for dealing with the important challenges faced by the country.
Addressing at the inauguration ceremony of the Cardiac Centre at the CMH in Lahore, President Pervez Musharraf said that the country is presently facing challenges like energy crisis, oil prices and crisis of food items and the government has to go ahead by attending these problems.
The President said that the country has achieved stability at the economic level in the previous five years and effective measures have been taken against extremism and terrorism.
President Musharraf said that the common citizens can be benefited from the Cardiac Centre of the CMH.
He said that to deal with problems like food crisis, we have to extend the revenue net and improve the tax system.
Present on the occasion were chief of the army staff General Ashfaq Pervez Kiani, corps commander Lt Gen Shafa’atullah Shah, governor Punjab and the care-taker chief minister Punjab.
