ISLAMABAD: Meteorological Department forecast widespread dust with thunderstorm and heavy rain in Upper Punjab including Islamabad during next 48 hours.
According to met department, the rain is likely to continue intermittently for 5 days.
In Southern Punjab, scattered dust with thunderstorm and hailstorm with rain is expected in Southern Punjab.
A strong westerly weather system is likely to affect the country in the next two days that may continue intermittently for about 05 days.
Under its influence, upper parts of the country may receive widespread thunderstorm and heavy rain. The possibility of hailstorm at a few places of Punjab, Upper Sindh and NWFP cannot be ruled out.
In Kashmir, Northern Areas, widespread hailstorm, rain with a few heavy falls would start from next 48 hours and likely to continue intermittently during next 05 days. Isolated to scattered snowfall may be possible during the period.
