PESHAWAR: Central Amir of Tehreek-i-Taliban, Baitullah Mehsud has decided to end the peace negotiations with the Government.
Tehreek’s spokesman, Maulvi Umer talking to media said the peace talks between Taliban and Government had hit a snag.
Now Baitullah Mehsud has decided to end the talks after Pakistan’s federal and provincial governments have shown lack of interest for the same. However, the ceasefire will continue, he added.
The Spokesman maintained the Federal as well as NWFP governments are no longer sincere in peace talks, adding, their negotiations with Taliban are limited only to the statements.
He said the government needs to hold talks with Maulana Fazlullah instead of Sufi Muhammad for establishing peace in Malakand. Any agreement with Sufi Muhammad cannot ensure restoration of peace in the area.http://geo.tv/images/shim.gif
