KARACHI: The prices of petrol, diesel and kerosene have been inflated across country today (Sunday) by approving a notification for next 15 days.
Government has sent summary to OGRA, asking for increase in petroleum prices and a formal notification has been issued to make the soaring possible.
10% addition in petrol and diesel prices and 30% addition in kerosene prices were announced.
Petrol has touched Rs. 75.69 per liter and high-speed diesel new price is Rs. 55.15 per liter.
Light diesel new price is Rs. 49.06 per liter, kerosene Rs. 49.73 and high octane Rs. 88.86 per liter.
The fresh hike in petroleum prices were based on the soaring in petroleum prices in international market. The spokesman of Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority said that the government would continue to subsidize petroleum products.
